1 dead after bus carrying prison wardens explodes

One prison warden has died after a bus exploded via an improvised explosive device in the northwestern province of Bursa.

A bus carrying prison wardens in the northwestern province of Bursa exploded on April 20, killing one person and injuring nine people. 

The Bursa Governor's Office said the bus exploded after an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated. 

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said one prison warden was killed and that efforts to find the suspects were ongoing. 

Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat said the incident may have been a "terror attack." 

Emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene where the bus, carrying around 30 people, exploded.
