2,5 tons of anchovy eaten at festival in Black Sea province of Rize

Some 2,5 tons of anchovy were eaten at a festival in Rize in the Black Sea region. The fish took three days to clean, 75 people to cook and a 100-meter grill. An anchovy eating contest and a contest for anchovy dishes were organized.

Some 2,5 tons of anchovies were offered to the visitors in Rize at a festival in Rize province in Turkey's Black Sea region.

The anchovies, which took three days to clean out, were gone in two hours.

The fish was cooked by 75 people on a 100-meter grill and served to the thousands of visitors by 25 people.

An anchovy eating contest and anchovy dish contest were also held.
