CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu dismisses all advisors, will appoint new names

After the election loss, main opposition CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has parted ways with all of his advisors and will appoint new names instead.

Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has dismissed all of his advisors that he had appointed prior to June 4, the party announced.

The number of these advisors is estimated to be above 40 and will be replaced by new names.

Among these advisors were Nuşerivan Elçi, Tuncay Özkan, Ünal Çeviköz, Erdoğan Toprak, Hacer Foggo, Jeremy Rifkin, Cevdet Nasırhanlı and Deniz Demir.

“The duties of all people who were appointed by Republican People’s Party Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as Advisor or Key Advisor prior to June 4, 2023 were ended as of June 14, 2023,” the party said in its statement on June 15.
