COVID-19 migration: Thousands flee Istanbul ahead of full lockdown

Thousands of Istanbul residents have rushed to leave the city ahead of the full lockdown set to be implemented between April 29 and May 17, creating massive traffic jams.

Istanbul residents have caused traffic congestion all around the city as they fled the metropolis ahead of the nationwide full lockdown.
