Demirtaş calls Kılıçdaroğlu Turkey’s 13th President, says he will ensure social peace

Jailed Former Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) leader has announced his support for opposition Nation Alliance’s presidential candidate and Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and referred to him as Turkey’s 13th President.

“Turkey’s 13th President Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, may God speed you. I sincerely believe that you will end factionalism, ensure social peace and bring Turkey prosperity and serenity. My vote is for you, Mr. #CumhurbaşkanıKılıçdaroğlu," Demirtaş tweeted on May 3.

In the morning hours, Demirtaş had tweeted that he would share an important message at 9 p.m. local time.
