First 'Turkish car' Pininfarina will be introduced to world on Friday

The first Turkish-produced car was delivered by logistics company Ege Ekspress about two weeks ago, as reported by the daily Dünya. The public introduction to the vehicles will be done by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Dec. 27 and production will start in 2022.

The first "Turkish" car, designed by Italian firm Pininfarina, were delivered through the Çeşme customs by Ege Express about two weeks ago, as reported by the daily Dünya on Monday.

The collaboration between the Turkish Automobile Venture Group (TOGG) and logistics company Ege Ekspres was announced on social media on Dec. 23.

The public introduction to the vehicles will be done by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Dec. 27 and production will start in 2022. Five models are expected to be produced by 2030.
