Four fishermen died when their boat crashed into a Greek tanker off the coast of the Mediterranean province of Adana on Nov. 11. One of the five fishermen survived the capsizing.

Four fishermen died when their boat crashed into a Greek tanker off the coast of the Mediterranean province of Adana on Nov. 11, the governor's office said.

The boat reportedly had five fishermen on board when it capsized upon impact around 5.50 a.m.

Three coast guard boats reported to the scene of the accident, along with a diver's team, and recovered the bodies of the four fishermen.

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing for the surviving fisherman, the governor's office added.
