Greece's Foreign Minister quarantined for coronavirus after contact with Greek ambassador to Turkey
Though it has not been officially confirmed by Ankara's Greek Embassy, it has been reported that Greece's ambassador to Turkey has contracted the coronavirus. Greece's Foreign Minister has been quarantined after contact with Diamessis.

Greece's Foregn Minister Nikos Dendias has been put on a 14-day quarantine after being in contact with Greece's ambassador to Turkey Michael-Christos Diamessis, who has reportedly contracted the virus.
The Greek press reported that Diamessis was the person in question responsible for Dendias' quarantine, while the Greek Embassy in Ankara has still not issued a confirmation. For its part, Greece's Foreign Ministry has only said that Dendias came into contact with someone who had tested positive for the virus, but did not specify who that person was.
Dendias's situation is not a cause for concern, according to reports. His schedule has been postponed and a visit with the Egyptian Foreign Minister has been cancelled as a result. Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Frangoyiannis has also been quarantined.
No information has been shared as to how or from whom Diamessis contracted the virus.
