Man arrested for throwing Erdoğan's picture on the floor

A man was arrested in Turkey for throwing Erdoğan's picture on the floor.

A man was arrested in the Ereğli district of the Black Sea province of Zonguldak for throwing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's picture on the floor, Demirören News Agency reported on Dec. 12. 

The man, identified only by the initials as A.Ç., threw Erdoğan's picture that was hanging at the entrance of the local governor's office in Ereğli. 

A.Ç. said that he was having economic difficulties. 

He was then detained and referred to court, which ruled for his arrest.
