Mother of missing Iranian woman says daughter abducted by people she knew
The mother of a missing Iranian woman last seen in Istanbul's Etiler neighborhood on Feb. 12, has said that she believes her daughter was abducted by people she knew. Marjan Ahadi's mother has said that the kidnappers had waited for her daughter to leave her workplace.

The mother of an Iranian woman who went missing on Feb. 12, has said that she believes her daughter had been kidnapped by people she knew.
The 30-year-old Marjan Ahadi has been living for the last three-and-a-half years in Istanbul and is working as a real estate consultor. She went missing soon after she left her workplace in Istanbul's Etiler neighborhood at about 6.30 p.m. local time on Feb. 12.
Ahadi's mother talked about her daughter's disappearance to Turkish media outlets saying she had been living with her daughter for the last six months.
“My daughter has been kidnapped by someone she knew. Because those people waited for her [after she left her workplace]. The police will find my daughter, with God's willing. The police have not yet given me any information; they just said that they are working on it [the investigation],” Maryam Ahadi was quoted as saying by Turkish media outlets on Feb. 15.
