NASA shares aerial view of Istanbul at night: You're glowing!

The United States' National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared an aerial photo of Istanbul at night on May 26. NASA's social media account shared the city's nighttime view with the caption "You're glowing!"

The United States' National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shared an aerial view of Istanbul on May 26 with the caption "You're glowing!" in reference to the city's night lights. 

"Hey, Istanbul. You’re glowing! Check out the night lights of one of Turkey's cities, split by the Bosphorus Strait and the Golden Horn!" NASA captioned the image. 

NASA's International Space Station reportedly captured the image on  May 10, 2021 "as it orbited 263 miles above the Black Sea."
