One killed in fight over leading the dance during wedding in Turkey

One person was killed and two others were wounded in a fight that erupted over leading the dance during a wedding in Turkey.

One person was killed and two others were wounded in a fight that erupted over leading the dance during a wedding in the Aegean province of İzmir, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Dec. 17.

A fight erupted between the guests of a wedding in the Bornova district about who will lead the folk dance of halay and the fight ensued outside the wedding hall. 

A person identified as H.H. stabbed 24-year-old Bozan Hamiş, M.H. and V.M. and fled the scene. 

Hamiş was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Efforts to apprehend the suspect were ongoing.
