Police files complaint against HDP congress over PKK, Öcalan slogans
Turkish police have said that they filed a complaint against a HDP congress over pro-PKK slogans.

Turkish police on Dec. 12 said that they have filed a complaint against a Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) congress held in Istanbul.
The police's anti-terror branch said that slogans supporting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were chanted at the congress.
According to the police, the participants also chanted slogans in support of jailed PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
"A complaint was filed with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office," read the police statement.
Thousands of people attended the HDP's Fourth Ordinary Congress in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece on Dec. 12.
Central Executive Board (MYK) members İlknur Birol and Ferhat Encü were appointed as co-chairs of the party's Istanbul branch.
