A police officer was suspended in the western province of Manisa after a video of him yelling at a senior citizen caused controversy on social media, the Manisa Governor's Office said March 26. A police officer was suspended after getting caught on camera while yelling at an older citizen in a bus terminal for violating the coronavirus curfew on seniors, the Manisa Governor's Office said March 26.

A video filmed at the bus station in the western province of Manisa showed the police officer yelling at an older citizen.

"Who do you think you're talking to?" the police officer is heard yelling at the senior citizen in the footage.

Upon release, the video attracted criticism on social media.
