Putin’s reaction to Erdoğan advisor's way of greeting Russian diplomat goes viral on social media

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s advisor İbrahim Kalın greeted one of the participants with a hug and kiss. A footage of Russian President Vladimir Putin's reaction to this way of greeting has gone viral on social media.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sept. 16 met in the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit

The two leaders were accompanied by diplomats during the summit, one of whom was Erdoğan's advisor İbrahim Kalın.

After the meeting, media outlets shared a video showing Putin's reaction to Kalın's way of greeing one of the event participants. In the video, Kalın is seen hugging and kissing a Russian diplomat, and Putin seems shocked by this. The Russian leader even utters "What is this?"
