Second earthquake at 7.6 magnitude strikes southern Turkey
A new earthquake at a magnitude of 7.6 struck southern Turkey's Kahrmanmaraş province at 1.24 p.m. local time on Feb. 6, after the initial 7.7-magnitude quake killed hundreds of people and injured thousands of others in the same region.

A new earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 struck the southern Kahramanmaraş province at 1.24 p.m. local time. The earthquake's epicenter was recorded as the Elbistan district by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
Kandilli Observatory gave the magnitude of the second big earthquake as 7.5. Since the quake happened as several reporters were in the region, it was recorded on live cameras by many media outlets.
It came in the aftermath of another 7.7-magnitude earthquake in the early morning hours in the province.
