Sleep pods now at Istanbul Airport

Passengers can now rent 'sleep pods' in the International Departures area of the Istanbul Airport. The pods are nine euros an hour and come with clean sheets, USB and electric sockets, and a special luggage compartment.

Travelers can now rent sleep pods at Istanbul Airport (IGA) for nine euros an hour.

Staff at the service area will offer each customer clean sheets for the hourly nine euros and blankets and pillows for an additional two euros.

The bedding will be dry cleaned after each customer.

The pods are equipped with USB and electric sockets on the inside and a special compartment underneath for the passenger's luggage.

The IGA Sleep Pod service area is located in the international departures area of the new airport.
