Turkey deploys additional troops, armored vehicles to Syrian border

The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) has deployed additional troops and armed vehicles to Turkey's border with Syria. The deployment was carried out under tight security measures on Jan. 29.

The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) has sent additional troops to Turkey's border with Syria in armored personnel carriers.

Armored vehicles, ammunition trucks and troops from various regions of Turkey reached the Reyhanlı district of the border province of Hatay on Jan. 29 under tight security measures.

Security measures were also ramped up in the Cilvegözü Border Gate.
