Twitter’s owner Elon Musk has angered Turkish main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül by implementing tweet reading limits to users.

In a TikTok video on July 2, Sarıgül called on Musk not to “limit our freedom on Twitter.”

Sarıgül said “Elon Musk, I am Mustafa Sarıgül from Erzincan province. I am calling you from Erzincan. Don't limit our freedom on Twitter. If you want a toy, find another toy, go play at home.”

Sarıgül is known for his TikTok videos where he shouts, and slaps objects and people around him after hearing expensive items.

Twitter on July 1 limited how many tweets per day accounts can read to discourage “extreme levels” of data scraping and system manipulation, causing outrage among users.
