Turkish police have urged citizens to stay at home in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by writing "Stay home" using synthetic drugs seized in a narcotic operation.
Police in the eastern province of Kars have shared a picture showing the drugs, as well as the narcotic dog that aided them in the operation.
This is not the first time that police used an unorthodox method to urge people to stay home. A week earlier, police in Istanbul's Beyoğlu also shared the same message by writing it with seized marijuana packages.
The picture was widely shared on social media and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu tweeted it as well.
