Turkish professor previously probed for treating the disadvantaged dies from coronavirus
Prof. Murat Dilmener, who was probed 16 years ago for treating the disadvantaged, from Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine died on May 3 from coronavirus (COVID-19). He had been receiving treatment in intensive care for the past month.

A professor who was previously probed for treating the disadvantaged died at the age of 78 from coronavirus (COVID-19) on May 3.
Prof. Murat Dilmener, who was probed 16 years ago for treating the disadvantaged, from Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine had been receiving treatment in intensive care for the past month.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca on April 29 said that some 7,428 medical staff members in Turkey have been infected with the novel coronavirus.
