A man who is known with being the Turkish Spider-Man has distributed candy to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in the southern province of Antalya.
Burak Soylu, who has been carrying out aid efforts in his costume, aimed to cheer children who are spending Eid at home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
He also distributed candy and balloons in the city's Manavgat district after obtaining a special permission from authorities.
"The people who see me smile even if they are angry. This makes me happy. The children also love me. It's impossible for me to reach all the children, but I acted to make the kids in my neighborhood happy," Soylu told state-run Anadolu Agency.
"I threw candy to children in their balconies. They experienced Eid to some extent. I'm happy to see children smile," he added.
Children were also delighted to see Spider-Man.
"He entertained us. We love him," they said.
