Christian Berger, the head of the EU's delegation to Turkey, condemned the attack on Turkish soldiers in Idlib and extended his condolences.
"We share the deep sorrow of Turkey for the loss of its soldiers in Idlib. As the Delegation of European Union to Turkey, we express our heartfelt condolences to our close partner and candidate country Turkey," Berger said in a statement on Feb. 28.
"We wish for the speedy recovery of those injured," he added.
