Turkey's flagship carrier Turkish Airlines will be starting flights to Europe on June 18, the company spokesperson said on June 2.

"We will start flying from 16 European cities to 14 spots across Anatiolia as of June 18," Turkish Airlines Spokesperson Yahya Üstün tweeted.

"As the flagship carrier, we will shorten the road home, and reunite our guests with their loved ones in a shorter time."

Neither a flight plan nor a list of the European destinations haven't yet been published on the airline's website.

The company's announcement comes merely the day after they started domestic flights on June 1.
