One person died as a tourist boat capsized off Alanya in Turkey’s southern Antalya province on Nov. 3, state-run Anadolu Agency said.
According to local media, there were 37 people on board the vessel.
"They were unable to get out of a tight space at the time of the accident," Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel said.
The boat was reportedly sailing 50-100 meters off the coast around Alanya Castle Fosforlu Cave when it capsized from an unknown cause.
Turkish Coast Guard personnel are currently evacuating the stranded boat passengers.Up to 60 migrants were on the boat that sank in eastern Turkey
