Five producers of chemotherapy medicines fined for collusion

Turkey's Competition Authority fined five medical companies that produce medicine used in chemotherapy. Six companies were investigated for collusion during a bid, while one was cleared.

Turkey's Competition Authority has fined five medical companies for collusion.

Six companies, all producers of chemotherapy medicine, were investigated for collusion whilst entering a bid.

Upon investigation of the documents presented by the companies, five were fined with 0.025% of their 2018 revenue.

The Samsun-based Korulu Group Health Services, the Izmir-based Meditera Import and Export and Onkofar Health Products, and the Ankara-based Oncosem Onchological Systems and Santek Health Tourism Textiles were fined.

Invotek Health Technologies were determined to have acted legally.
