A hospital in one of Istanbul's busiest neighborhoods has refuted rumors that their emergency room had been placed under quarantine and shut down because of a coronavirus scare.

"Anything you see on social media that says the emergency room has been shut down is unfounded. Our hospital is serving patients as always," said a tweet by Bahçelievler State Hospital Feb. 25.

The hospital's tweet featured images of security footage showing patients.
