Nudity in poster for Turkish drama 'Hamlet' censored in printing

The poster of the Turkish drama "Hamlet" was censored in printing, as the body of the actress was covered up with a white cloth.

Nudity in the poster for the Turkish series "Hamlet" was censored when the poster went into printing, the daily Birgün reported on Oct. 20. 

The poster shows actress Elit İşcan lying down on a table with a snake around her body, while actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu stands behind her in a black sweater. 

The poster was printed with a white cloth covering up the actress' body, with the same yellow snake placed on top of the white sheet. 

Produced by GainTV, the show was subject to censorship before it even aired, and also competed in the largest festival for TV shows, Series Mania.
