Crucial dates ahead of Erdoğan: November 14 and 19

Murat Yetkin writes: It mustn’t have been easy for Erdoğan to respond to his son-in-law Berat Albayrak with a belated “goodbye” when he said “goodbye” to the Treasury and Finance Ministry. Until recently, Albayrak was the apple of his eye. Several signs have emerged that Erdoğan lowered gears. Prominent journalist Murat Yetkin has penned a piece on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's potential decisive moves in the economy and foreign policy.

According to Yetkin, there are two dates ahead of Erdoğan that are crucial.

"The Oruç Reis drilling vessel is still investigating the eastern Mediterranean, but its term of duty in the region will expire on Nov. 14," he said of the first important date.

"On Nov. 19, the Central Bank is set to hold its monetary policy meeting to decide on the new interest rates," he added.
