The Turkish Defense Ministry said late on March 18 that rockets fired from Syria hit the southern province of Kilis.
The rockets did not explode and hit an empty plot of land, the statement said.
The ministry also said that no injuries were reported in the incident and that Russia had been notified of the attack.

According to state-run Anadolu Agency, two rockets hit the province, one an empty plot of land, while the other one a marble workshop.
Citing Turkish authorities, the agency said that the rockets had been fired from Syria's Tel Rifaat region, which is under the control of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).
