Wildlife photographer Alper Tüydeş has once again captured the photographs of the stork named "Yaren" perched on the boat of fisherman Yılmaz in Leylek (Stork) Village in Bursa's Karacabey district.

The story of the fisherman who befriended Yaren the stork, which perched on his boat while he was fishing on Uluabat Lake 13 years ago, gained international fame after photographer Tüydeş shared their story.

Karacabey District Municipality also installed cameras near Yaren the stroke's nest and livestream its stay in the district during spring.

In 2019, with the support of the Karacabey Municipality, director Burak Doğansoysal filmed the story of the duo, and it won the Best Documentary award at the Prague Film Awards.
