18-year-old teen injures 5 people in stabbing attack in Turkey
An 18-year-old teenager stabbed and injured five people in Turkey’s Eskişehir province while wearing a helmet, mask, and bulletproof vest. He also live-streamed the attack on social media.

An 18-year-old teenager with the initials A.K. on Aug. 12 stabbed and injured five people in the Tepebaşı district of Turkey’s Eskişehir province.
The attack stirred a huge reaction in the country.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya on Aug. 13 shared the moments of the attacker’s detention, showing his equipment covered with Nazi symbols.
Accordingly, the attacker wore a helmet, mask, and bulletproof vest, and started attacking people with a knife on the street. He also live-streamed the attack on social media. He was caught shortly after the attacks.
Accordingly, he also carried an axe which he did not use.
The Eskişehir Governor’s Office announced that the attacker had no criminal records.
While he was arrested on Aug. 13, an Eskişehir court imposed a broadcasting ban on the incident.
