Demirtaş's lawyer Hasan Tahsin Kaya dies at 43
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş's lawyer Hasan Tahsin Kaya died of a heart attack at the age of 43 in the western province of Edirne. HDP Edirne provincial head Beşir Belke said that Kaya had been a lawyer of Demirtaş since 2018 and was visiting the former co-chair once every two weeks in the Edirne Prison.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş's lawyer Hasan Tahsin Kaya died at the age of 43 in the western province of Edirne.
Kaya died of a heart attack, Demirtaş tweeted on Aug. 21.
"I'm very sorry. We will never forget your efforts," Demirtaş said.
Edirne Bar head Alper Pınar also sent a message of condolences following the death of Kaya, who was a member of the bar.
