Gold prices in Turkey surge to record levels, one gram priced over 350 TL

Gold prices spiked April 13 as one gram of gold was priced at 367 Turkish Lira at the start of the day, and one ounce of gold was priced at 1686 lira.

Gold prices surged to record levels April 13, as one gram of gold was valued at 367 Turkish Lira at the beginning of the day. 

One ounce of gold is sold for 1686 Turkish Lira, while one-quarter of a golden Lira is priced at 602 liras. 

While experts suggest that investment in gold has been spurred by the Fed’s trillion-dollar relief package, fluctuations are expected to last for a while.

The Dollar to Turkish Lira exchange rate began the day at 6,76 TL while the Euro exchange rate opened the day at 7,40 TL April 13.
