Hollywood stars, including Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie, celebrated President Erdoğan's 67th birthday during the opening ceremony of the Istanbul Cinema Museum on Feb. 26.

Hollywood stars on Feb. 26 celebrated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's 67th birthday during the opening ceremony of the Istanbul Cinema Museum. 

Actors Jason Statham and Josh Harrnett, director Guy Ritchie and his wife Jacqui Ainsley, producer Ivan Atkinson and Miramax CEO Bill Block were among those who celebrated Erdoğan as he cut a birthday cake alongside First Lady Emine Erdoğan. 

The stars have been in Turkey for some time for the shooting of Ritchie's new movie "Five Eyes." 

Istanbul Cinema Museum was opened on Feb. 26 at the Atlas Theatre building on the touristic İstiklal Street following two-years of restoration work.

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and his wife Pervin Ersoy attended the ceremony, as well as a group of Turkish celebrities, including Orhan Gencebay, Hülya Koçyiğit, Ediz Hun, Oktay Kaynarca, Serkan Çağrı, Engin Altan Düzyatan, Bülent İnal, Serdar Gökhan and İskender Pala.
