Istanbul boat party gets fined for violating social distancing

Attendees at a boat party on the Istanbul Bosphorus were fined a total of 154,350 Turkish Liras (over $20,000) for violating social distancing guidelines.

Istanbul Police's Morality and Gambling crews raided a boat that was reported to be the location of a party.

Some 49 people at the party were fined 3,150 Turkish Liras each (about $450).

Boat owner Muzaffer C. and employee Tevfik T.T. were detained for legal action.
