Turkish Airlines extends flight cancellations into June

Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines announced on May 20 that it was extending the cancellation of its domestic flights to June 4 and international flights to June 10.

Turkish Airlines (THY) announced on May 20 that a suspension of domestic and international flights will be extended because of the coronavirus pandemic. 

Turkish Airlines extends flight cancellations until May 28

Domestic flights will be grounded until June 4 and international flights until June 10, the company said.

Carry-on bags will not be allowed in the cabin area but will now be checked with other baggage.

The usual 8-kilogram carry-on bags for international and domestic flights will be added to passengers’ luggage allowance. Handbags will be permitted on flights. 

Turkey's flag carrier announced in late April it halted all flights until May 28. 

Budget carrier Pegasus, which had already cancelled international flights until June 14, said it would also cancel domestic flights until June 3.
