Yacht owned by former Russian President Medvedev docks in Istanbul

As Putin's inner circle seeks safe ports for their superyachts, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's yacht "Universe" docked at a port in Istanbul on March 25.

A superyacht linked to Russian ex-president and deputy head of security council Dmitry Medvedev docked in Ataköy Marina in Istanbul’s Bakıröy district early on March 25, online news outlet Medyascope reported.

Images of the 74-meter-long yacht “Universe” were taken by Medyascope reporters.  

The yacht had departed the Aegean town of Marmaris on March 24 and had started to sail towards Istanbul.

Fleeing sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin's inner circle seeks safe ports for their superyachts. Earlier this week, oligarch Roman Abramovich's yacht “Eclipse” docked in Marmaris and “Solaris” in Bodrum.
