In Ankara, 36-year-old patient, identified only by the initials as Y.Y., escaped from the Ankara City Hospital on March 22 where he was under quarantine due to suffering from high fever and coughing.
The hospital was alarmed by the situation and notified police officers on the issue.
Police officers in special medical gears apprehended the fugitive patient and delivered him to health teams.
A similar incident took place in Istanbul, where a woman escaped from quarantine by jumping out of the window in the Taksim First Aid Hospital early on March 23.

Police teams stopped the taxi, which was followed by the woman attempting to run away from police.
She was apprehended near Taksim Square and was brought back to the hospital.
Disinfection works were carried out on the scenes of both incidents.
