Turkey's higher education institutions will remain closed through the spring semester to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) announced March 26.
"We will carry out the spring term remotely," YÖK Chair Yekta Saraç said.
Any material that can't be covered remotely will be recovered during the summer semester.Turkish universities to begin remote classes on March 23
The regulations apply to all programs, including bachelor's, master's and doctorate's, Saraç added.
