Eastern Turkey flood takes down power lines

A flood in the eastern province of Erzincan took down multiple power towers and lines. While the governor ordered a cleanup, nearby villages reported power outages.

A flood in the eastern province of Erzincan took down multiple power towers and lines on July 2.

Although rainfall was in the Günebakan village's mountains, local Kurt Stream overflowed.

As the flood took down the power towers, three empty barns were also destroyed.

Governor Mehmet Makas inspected the scene of the flood and ordered a fast cleanup and damage assessment.

Nearby villages reported power outages following the flood.
