The leader of the far-right Great Unity Party (BBP) and an ally of the government Mustafa Destici on July 13 proposed opening all women hospitals and universities.

Destici said he supports Education Minister Yusuf Tekin’s proposal “without hesitation.” Tekin on July 11 proposed opening up all girls and boys schools to convince parents to send their children to schools.

“We know that the real intentions of those who oppose (Tekin’s proposal) under the name of secularism are hostility to faith and religion. Therefore, regardless of their bullshit, (this proposal) should be implemented in the next academic year. The Parliament, the elected President and the government determine the type and form of our schools, and families and children decide which school they participate in,” Destici said in series of tweets.

“We should open all women's universities like in Japan. We should also plan at least one all women hospital within each district. We do not have to design our lives, our education system, our universities or our hospitals according to the imperialist west or the left,” he added.
