Baby brown bear seen cooling off in water tank in fire-struck Dersim

A baby brown bear was captured on a camera in the wilderness while cooling off in a water tank in the eastern province of Dersim, local media reported on Aug. 31. The province has suffered from ravaging forest fires for over two weeks now, and locals have protested the government's seeming inaction to combat the flames.

A baby brown bear was caught on a camera n the wild in eastern Dersim while cooling off in a water tank, local media reported on Aug. 31. 

Home to dozens of animal and plant species, Dersim has been ravaged by forest fires for more than two weeks, and locals have protested the government's inaction to combat the flames. 

The water tank the bear was spotted in was placed out in the wild by teams of the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry's General Directorate of Natural Protection and National Parks.
