Knife-yielding Grey Wolves members were spotted at Ankara University's Cebeci campus, as the ultranationalist group's attack on students ensued for the second day on Dec. 9.

The group of far-right men on Dec. 8 attacked students who planned to organize a forum to discuss Turkey's economic downfall.

University security and riot police paved the way for the attack since they did nothing to stop the group, students said.

The attacks ensued on Dec. 9, with students spotting knife-yielding men on the campus.

Police, however, tried to disperse students instead of pushing the far-right men out of the university.

The Grey Wolves, seen as a wing of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) are banned in several European countries due to their constant attacks.
